South32 is seeking a Mine Planning Engineer for the Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role is permanent with an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville/Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires.

You will drive strategic and operational mine planning to support secure, sustainable underground production. Key responsibilities include developing stope designs, collaborating with Geology/Geotechnical teams, monitoring sequences and enhancing planning processes to
