A leading public transport infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager Rail Delivery to lead key strategic and operational projects supporting the ongoing development of the rail network.
The role will manage the full project lifecycle, from pre-feasibility through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of strategic and operational projects
Plan, coordinate and manage project activities, deliverables, resources and timelines
Lead project governance, including risk and issue management, reporting and escalation
Develop project documentation, business cases and supporting materials
Negotiate and resolve complex project management issues
Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and transport operators
Monitor project performance against agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements
About You
Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline
Demonstrated project management experience within rail, transport or infrastructure
Robust understanding of project governance, risk management and delivery frameworks
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, resources and project deliverables
Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities within defined timeframes and budgets
Relevant project management qualifications or professional membership will be highly regarded
