We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a leading Federal Government Agency supporting critical data and analytics initiatives. The successful Senior Data Analyst will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and maintain enterprise data products while transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a further 12 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Designing, building and maintaining enterprise data products and data assets
Performing data wrangling, profiling, quality assessments and data validation activities
Translating business requirements into coded data transformations and analytics solutions
Developing new data attributes, prototypes and reporting capabilities




Presenting technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The successful Senior Data Analyst will have:
Extensive experience analysing complex datasets and developing high-quality analytical solutions
Advanced programming skills across SQL, Python, SAS and/or R
Experience working within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments and data pipelines
Solid stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills
Experience with Snowflake, SAS Viya and Power BI highly regarded
