4 Seas Pty Ltd is Australia’s leading premium wholesaler of Tuna and Swordfish, located on the Sunshine Coast. An chance has become available for a reliable Factory Hand. The position is best suited to a factory and or warehouse all-rounder who is capable of hands-on duties.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
Processing of tuna and swordfish carcass ready for distribution.
Dispatch, pallet loading and semi trailer yard loading.
Factory production and housekeeping duties.
General Maintenance, hygiene and cleaning.
Assisting Management with other duties.
Regular, repetitive heavy lifting.
General Maintenance on vessels.
Applicant Criteria:
Forklift licence preferred
Car Licence
Food factory and or warehouse experience.
Dependable and versatile with work hours (early starts before 6am are regular).
The position involves manual handling and can be physically demanding during quick paced repetitive processing and would suit someone who is physically fit.
Demonstrated experience working with deadlines.
Food processing, warehousing, logistics, exporting or importing, and or transportation experience.
Ability to work in a chilled process room / cold room / freezer environment.
A team player willing to support the team in capacities outside of your role responsibilities.
