About the role
As an early childhood educator, you will support children’s learning, development, and daily care within a structured early childhood setting. You will contribute to a protected, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for all children.

Tasks and duties
Provide attentive care and supervision to children in long day care and occasional care settings
Facilitate children’s participation in play-based learning through reading, games, and interactive activities
Assist with organising and implementing engaging educational and recreational experiences
Promote positive behaviour by guiding social interactions and encouraging respectful communication




Monitor children’s safety and wellbeing during both indoor and outdoor activities
Support daily routines, including transitions between activities and rest periods
Attend to children’s personal care needs, ensuring appropriate hygiene practices are maintained

Experience

· At least 12 months of relevant work experience in an early childhood setting

Qualifications

· Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
