About the Role
We're looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy food manufacturing facility in Wacol. These afternoon shift roles are based within the warehouse and offer a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties in a quick-paced environment.
There are two opportunities available, each suited to candidates with robust counterbalance forklift experience and a commitment to workplace safety.
Afternoon shifts - $38.73
Warehouse (Front Dock)
12:00pm – 8:00pm
Loading and unloading trucks
Counterbalance forklift operation (Essential)
Regular manual handling up to 25kg as required (Must be okay with regular heavy lifting)
Warehouse (Packaging)
12:00pm – 8:00pm
Loading and unloading packaging materials
Counterbalance forklift operation (Essential)
Regular manual handling of lighter products
About You & Responsibilities
Previous experience operating counterbalance forklift is essential
Current LF Forklift Licence required
Load and unload trucks and move stock throughout the warehouse
Supply packaging materials to production areas
Complete general warehouse duties and stock movements
Physically fit to perform manual handling of up to 25kg when required
Follow all workplace safety, hygiene and quality procedures
Experience within food manufacturing enviroment (highly regarded)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug, alcohol and fitness testing
