Are you an experienced procurement qualified looking to join a Tier 1 mining organisation and influence high-value commercial outcomes?
We are seeking a Category Specialist to support strategic sourcing, tendering, contract management and supplier relationship management across a diverse portfolio of mining services categories.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities
Developing and implementing category management strategies
Managing high-value and high-risk contracts
Driving strong supplier relationship management outcomes
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial value
Supporting procurement governance, compliance and risk management
Analysing procurement data to identify opportunities and improve performance
What We're Looking For
5+ years' procurement, sourcing or category management experience
Strong contract negotiation and commercial management capability
Experience within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure or heavy industry
Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
Knowledge of procurement governance, tendering and strategic sourcing methodologies
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law or similar (desirable)
