About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a participant in Ellenbrook, WA.

The participant lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and significant psychosocial conditions, including PTSD and agoraphobia . Her symptoms can change rapidly and unpredictably, requiring a calm, adaptable, and supportive approach.

Key Support Needs

The participant may experience:
Paralysis, seizures, or extreme fatigue without warning
Sensitivity to noise, light, heat, and emotional stress
Anxiety and feelings of being unsafe, particularly in unfamiliar settings or with unfamiliar people
Challenges associated with trauma and agoraphobia

The successful candidate will be able to build trust gradually and provide a safe, predictable, respectful, and trauma-informed support workplace .

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:
Female and experienced in Disability Support
Compassionate, patient, calm,



and reliable
Trauma-informed and respectful of personal boundaries
Confident supporting participants with complex needs
Able to respond calmly to changing or unpredictable situations
Understanding of psychosocial disability and neurological conditions
Experienced with FND, PTSD, seizures, or complex support needs is highly regarded

Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Reliable and insured vehicle
Previous Disability Support experience
