Procurement and Contract Officer

Job Summary / Overview:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement and Contract Officer to support the development and management of low risk commercial contracts. Working within a team-oriented procurement team you will provide advice to stakeholders, maintain contract compliance and contribute to procurement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage allocated low risk contracts.
Provide procurement and contract management advice to business areas.
Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle.
Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance.
Maintain contract registers and procurement records.
Prepare reports, correspondence and meeting minutes.
Support procurement policy development and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in contract development and/or management of low risk contracts.




Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated analytical, research and problem-solving ability.
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Sound Microsoft Office skills and experience with contract management systems.
