Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

About the Business

Petrovic Business Group operates the McDonald’s Family Restaurant located in Bass, Victoria. The restaurant provides quick, efficient and high-quality food and customer service to the local community and travellers throughout the region.

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team on a full time basis and take responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the restaurant.

About the Role

The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, stock control, operational performance, compliance and the implementation of business policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will work closely with the business owner and management team to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently, achieves its operational and financial objectives, and maintains required standards of customer service, food quality, safety and presentation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities





• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including service standards, stock levels and overall operational performance;• Monitor sales, financial transactions, inventory and operating costs, and manage budgeting and stock purchasing requirements.;• Manage the recruitment, rostering, training, supervision and performance of restaurant staff; and• Ensure the restaurant operates in accordance with applicable workplace health and safety, food safety and other regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Relevant qualifications in retail management, business, hospitality management or a related field;• At least one year of relevant experience in a retail, restaurant or quick-service restaurant management position;• Robust leadership and team management skills;• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills;• Good organisational and time-management skills;• An understanding of workplace health and safety and food safety requirements; and• The ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment.
