The exciting opportunity
Permanent part-time role working 4 days a week from 9am – 5pm
Oversee the lifestyle program at our 61-bed Grafton aged care home
Plan and deliver activity programs that cater to residents’ needs and preferences
Give one-on-one assistance to residents enabling them to take part in social events
Support residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration management, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing
Build solid, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff
Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect resident’s care

About you
Experience as a Lifestyle Officer or Personal Care Worker in residential aged care
Motivated, compassionate, comfortable using IT for documentation, excellent communication skills, and able to build solid rapport with residents
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is highly regarded
Full driver's license and unlimited working rights in Australia is essential
NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain
