Position: Landscape Gardener

Position Type: Full time

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Truganina VIC 3029

Our client is seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join their team located in Truganina, Victoria.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain soil, seedbeds, and growing areas for planting.
Plant, cultivate, and maintain trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers, lawns, and other landscape vegetation.
Prepare lawn areas by spreading topsoil, laying instant turf, or sowing grass seed, and maintain lawns through mowing, edging, watering, fertilising, and weed control.
Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges, and install plant supports and protective devices where required.
Install garden beds, edging, mulch, decorative stone, paving, and other landscape features.
Read and interpret landscape plans and carry out landscaping work according to project specifications.
Select and plant suitable trees, shrubs, flowers,



and ground covers based on site and environmental conditions.
Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure productive watering of landscaped areas.
Operate and maintain landscaping machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all landscaping work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and company standards.

Requirements:
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in relevant field
At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Landscape Gardener
Experience in commercial and residential landscaping
Current driver's licence.
