Intermediate Accountant

Salary: $75,000 to 85,000 + Superannuation

GCG Accountants is employing for the role of Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The Position is full time, office based and is available for an immediate start.

We are seeking a qualified and energetic individual with solid communication, organizational & people skills and can demonstrate the following:

·Bachelor of Accounting or Commerce or higher

·Study towards or qualification of CPA or CA Membership

·Experience in preparing Financial Statements for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships

·Experience in preparing Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts & SMSF

·Competence in using Access HandiSoft and Access HandiTax

·Competence in using various Software applications including MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks, Microsoft Suite

Your job will include, but is not limited to:

-Preparation of Financial Statements including Trial Balance and completion of all associated Work Papers.





-Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and Superannuation Funds.

-Preparation and lodgement of other ATO forms, including but not limited to quarterly/monthly/annual BAS, IAS, FBT Returns, TBAR, TPAR

-Preparation of ASIC reports & forms

-Liaise with and advise clients and other staff members on various taxation and accounting matters in person, by phone, email or letter

-Communicate with the Australian Taxation Office and other government offices

-Assist with other taxation and accounting compliance activities
