We have multiple casual Labourer roles available across our sites, with work locations locally in Cairns or within 3 hours north or south of Cairns, depending on project requirements. These are entry-level, physical roles suited to people who are fit, reliable and willing to work outdoors as part of a civil construction crew. Permanent opportunities are available for successful candidates who prove to be a robust fit for the team.

About the Role
General civil construction labouring across roadworks, drainage, earthworks and site preparation.
Supporting crews with trenching, backfilling, spotting machinery, loading and unloading materials, and setting up work areas.
Assisting with site clean-up, moving materials, traffic and pedestrian control support, and keeping work areas protected and tidy.




Following directions from supervisors and leading hands to support day-to-day construction activities on site.

Requirements
Own reliable transport & current driver’s licence.
Truck licence desirable, but not essential.
Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Physically fit and able to carry out manual labouring tasks in an outdoor civil construction setting.
Willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
Must be willing to work locally or away on shift, depending on project requirements.
