About the company:
Our government client is seeking an experienced Procurement Advisor at APS6 level to join them on a temporary basis, supporting procurement activities across ACT and NSW. This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant national project while building expertise in large-scale government procurement.
About the role:
Provide expert procurement and contract management advice to ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, legislation, policies and frameworks
Lead and coordinate end to end procurement processes including planning, approaches to market, tender evaluation, and contract management
Prepare and review contract and procurement documentation
Stakeholder engagement at all levels, both internal and external.
Reporting, governance and compliance - ensuring accurate and complete procurement and contract records are maintained
Performance and continuous improvement - analysing procurement and contract data and providing recommendations accordingly.
About you:
You will have end to end procurement experience working in a government workplace, and you will have knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
You will have a robust understanding of probity, compliance, and risk management in procurement contexts
You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear procurement documentation
Ideally you will have experience working in infrastructure, construction, or large-scale project environments
You will ideally have a Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contract Management, or equivalent professional qualification.

Locations - North Sydney NSW, Newcastle NSW and Canberra ACT and potential for hybrid working from home where possible
$64.00 - $71.00 per hour + super
