Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing internal controls, and driving operational efficiency across the group.
The ideal candidate will combine solid technical accounting skills with strategic thinking and operational excellence to support the organisation's growth and financial health.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing internal controls, and driving operational efficiency across the group.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting skills with strategic thinking and operational excellence to support the organisation's growth and financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance across all pharmacy locations
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely month-end processes, reconciliations, and close
Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies and ensure timely filing of all required reports
Analyse financial data and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement
Support budgeting and forecasting processes of multiple departments by providing accurate financial data and analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accurate valuation




Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management
Implement and optimise financial systems and automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial operations
Collaborate with pharmacy operations teams to ensure financial alignment with operational goals and compliance requirements
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for the CFO and COO
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail operations strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
Proven leadership and team management experience with ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-location retail or healthcare operations
Knowledge of pharmacy specific regulations
Experience implementing financial systems or process improvement initiatives
Background in acquisitions or business integration
