Tax Manager – International & Transfer Pricing | 3-Month ContractAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experiencedTax Manager – Internationalfor a 3-month contract engagement with a leading Melbourne-headquartered global corporate.
Stepping into a well-established Group Tax function, this role isresponsible for managing outbound international tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, global tax reporting, and coordinating across an extensive offshore network and external advisory panel.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer Pricing:Centrally manage global transfer pricing documentation, monitor arm's-length pricing on related-party transactions, and coordinate international TP reviews/audits.
International Tax Compliance:Provide technical oversight across international tax regimes includingControlled Foreign Companies (CFCs),International Dealings Schedules (IDS), andThin Capitalisationrules.
Global Return Review:Manage and review corporate income tax returns across multiple international operating jurisdictions in partnership with local country finance teams and external advisors.
Tax Provisioning & Financial Statements:Review tax computations,
effective tax rates (ETR), and tax note disclosures (AASB 112 / Tax Effect Accounting) for network local financial statements.
Key Selection CriteriaInternational Tax & TP Expertise:Demonstrated experience managing transfer pricing, outbound corporate tax compliance, and cross-border tax considerations for a multi-jurisdictional entity.
Corporate & Skilled Background:
Prior experience working within anASX-listedor large multinational corporate environmentrequired.
Background inBig 4 or Mid-Tiercorporate tax / transfer pricing divisionshighly regarded.
Qualifications:CA, CPA, or Masters of Tax (or equivalent).
Autonomy & Speed:Proven track record in stepping into contract/interim roles, taking quick ownership of BAU tax workflows, and managing external advisors effectively.
