About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design, verification, and delivery of temporary works and structural engineering solutions that support safe and efficient construction outcomes.
The role will involve close collaboration with construction managers, project engineers, scaffolding contractors, formwork suppliers,



and project stakeholders across a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and review temporary works structures and systems.
Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
Deliver temporary works designs for:
Scaffolding systems
Formwork and falsework
Propping and shoring systems
Crane and lifting platforms
Working platforms
Excavation support systems
Temporary access structures
Construction staging and sequencing assessments
Undertake structural and civil engineering analysis.
Conduct site inspections and provide construction support.
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, legislation, and engineering best practice.
Support quality assurance, risk management, and technical governance systems.
Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
About YouEssential Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Minimum3 years' experiencein Temporary Works Design, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering design principles.
Experience preparing engineering calculations and technical reports.




Proficiency in structural analysis and engineering software.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence.
Full Australian working rights.
Preferred Requirements
Member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or actively working towards Chartership.
Experience within construction, infrastructure, mining, commercial, or industrial projects.
Experience with temporary works governance frameworks.
Familiarity with scaffolding systems, formwork systems, and construction methodologies.
