Responsibilities
Conduct safe flight operations complying with CASA, contractual and company policies and procedures
Report promptly on all operations and maintenance deficiencies
Complete pre-flight and post-flight documentation
Conduct helicopter EMS and Search and Rescue Operations
Provide accurate visual observation and information to the Pilot of flight relevant data including clearances, personnel movements and flight safety related issues
Maintain continuous and immediate readiness of operational role equipment
Employ and install role equipment
Operate rescue hoist and associated equipment IAW Babcock Exposition
Perform duties in the Front Left Seat (FLS) by day, and using Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS)
Assist Medical Transport Specialists to provide critical interventions within scope, training and contract requirements
Maintain all relevant recencies, currencies and proficiency checks, and conduct associated training events
Conduct aircraft flight preparation and post-flight husbandry
Ensure security and safe configuration of cabin and equipment; and
Other tasks as designated by the Deputy Chief Aircrew Officer or Chief Aircrew Officer.
About You
Five hundred (500) hours experience as an Aircrew Officer
Hoist operator endorsements held for greater than twelve (12) months, with appropriate experience, or military endorsement
NVIS endorsement and experience
One hundred and fifty (150) hours experience in EMS
Current HUET with EBS
Front Left Seat experience AW139
Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy (HLTAID015)
Hold a CASA Class 2 Medical Certificate
Certificate IV in Aviation AVI***** (Aircrewman) or AVI***** (Aircrew Officer), or Certificate IV in Airborne Operations (AVI*****)
Exceptional independent self-management and initiative

Rescue Crew Officer experience
B412 experience
