Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) NEW SERVICE
Full-Time or Part-Time | New PET/CT Service | South West Sydney
Join Our New PET/CT Service
Spectrum Medical Imaging is opening anew, purpose-built PET/CTimaging practice in South West Sydney and is seeking an enthusiasticNuclear Medicine Technologistto join our foundation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in, helping establish clinical workflows and a positive team culture while working with modern PET/CT technology in a patient-focused environment.
About the Role
You will perform high-quality PET/CT imaging and provide safe, compassionate care throughout the patient journey.
Working closely with our Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiologists and wider team, you will contribute to the successful establishment and growth of the new service.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing PET/CT examinations in line with clinical protocols
Preparing, educating and positioning patients
Administering radiopharmaceuticals safely and in accordance with relevant requirements
Maintaining radiation safety, quality assurance and infection control standards
Ensuring accurate patient documentation and records
Supporting the development of productive clinical and operational workflows
Contributing to a collaborative culture and continuous quality improvement
About You
We are looking for a motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist who takes pride in delivering quality imaging and an exceptional patient experience.
Ideally, you will bring:
CurrentAHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
A currentNSW Radiation User Licence,



or eligibility to obtain, includingIA16D – Diagnostic CT for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
PET/CT experience is advantageous, although Nuclear Medicine Technologists with a strong interest in developing their PET/CT skills are encouraged to apply
A patient-centred approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a growing team
A proactive attitude and commitment to professional development, quality and safety
