The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Family Lawyer/Solicitor to take ownership of a portfolio of matters and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who enjoys client work, is comfortable running matters end-to-end, and is ready for a leadership-oriented position within a boutique environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of Family Law matters, including complex parenting and property matters, from initial advice through to resolution (including litigation where required)
Provide clear, practical advice and strong client service throughout each matter




Draft and review Court documents, correspondence, agreements, and settlement documentation
Prepare for and appear at Court events where appropriate, and brief/collaborate with Counsel as required
Negotiate outcomes and represent clients in mediations, conferences, and other dispute resolution processes
Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to client retention and referral growth
Support, supervise and mentor junior team members (as required)
Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth
About You
7+ years post-admission experience (PAE)
Strong background and interest inFamily Law(parenting and property)
Excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver practical legal solutions
Strong file management skills, including prioritisation and meeting deadlines
Collaborative working style with an interest in leadership and mentoring
Work from home / hybrid flexibility
