They are looking for an experiencedSenior Databricks Engineerto join a high-performing technology team and play a key role in the backend migration and modernisation of a criticalenterprise Investment Data Platform.
Role Overview
This role will see an experienced backend/data engineer work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled Investment Data Technology specialists and investment stakeholders.
You will help design, build and migrate scalable backend data solutions usingDatabricks, Python and SQL, supporting critical investment, reference and security data across the organisation.
Experience and Skills
Strong commercialDatabricksengineering experience
ExcellentPython and SQLdevelopment skills
Strong backend and data engineering experience
Experience building and maintaining complexETL / ELT and data pipelines
Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms




Investment Management, Asset Management, Superannuation or Financial Markets experience highly regarded
Experience withInvestment Data Platformshighly regarded
Security Master, Reference Data, Market Data and/or Investment Data experience advantageous
Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality and data integration
Cloud data engineering experience
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
