We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedEstimatorto join our growing team at Patterson Building Group, based in Mascot, NSW.
In this full-time role, you will play a key part in our construction operations, preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates across a diverse range of projects.

What you'll be doing
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify all cost components
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information
Participate in the bidding and tendering process, ensuring that our proposals are competitive and profitable
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in material and labour costs
Provide support and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process
What we're looking for
Extensive experience (5+ years) as an Estimator in the construction industry
Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation principles




Proficiency in using construction estimating software and spreadsheet applications
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team
Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field
