My Melbourne Tutors is a well‐established and busy tutoring centre inBentleigh East, proudly supporting students and families forover 16 years.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic, organised and outgoing person to join our team in aTutoring Centre Leader / Assistant Managerrole.
This is avaried, hands‐on leadership rolecombining tutoring, administration, customer service and responsibility for the day‐to‐day running of the learning centre.
The position is expected to start at3–4 days per week, with the opportunity for the right person to increase their hours and potentially move into afull‐time position.
Afternoon and evening availability is essential.
Availability Saturday mornings until early afternoon preferred.
Flexibility in timing around school holidays is important.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility for theday‐to‐day running of the learning centre
Tutoring Maths and/or English to students
Communicating with parents and tutors by phone, email and text to schedule students, coordinate tutor timetables, organise payments and ensure the centre runs smoothly
Responding to new enquiries by phone, email and in person
Speaking with parents about their student's learning and progress




As you grow into the role you will conduct initial assessments of new students and sell our programmes to their parents
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Outgoing, friendly and confidentwhen speaking with parents, students and prospective families
An excellent communicator, both face‐to‐face and over the phone
Highly organisedand able to manage multiple conversations, schedules and tasks at the same time
Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently
Qualified, reliable and well presented
Positive and enthusiastic when working with children and families
Able to build rapport quickly with both students and parents
A confident Maths and/or English tutor, with strong academic skills
Previous education, sales and customer service experience would be highly regarded.
