About the Role
Black Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Controller / Foreman to lead our busy service department.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, supporting and guiding a team of Technicians, and ensuring all repairs and servicing are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
You will also utilise your strong diagnostic and mechanical skills to assist the team where required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily workshop operations
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Technicians
Ensure high-quality servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Maintain workflow efficiency and productivity
Assist with complex diagnostics and fault finding
Liaise with Service Manager and Service Advisors to ensure clear communication
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Skills & Experience
Qualified Automotive Technician (essential)
Proven experience in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic, repair,



and fault-finding ability
Previous leadership or supervisory experience (highly regarded)
Ability to work in a quick-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Licences & Certifications
Full Manual Driver's Licence (essential)
Roadworthy Licence (highly regarded)
Toyota experience (highly regarded)
