About the role:
Manage commercial litigation files from initial instructions through to resolution
Draft pleadings, evidence, submissions, court books and related correspondence
Appear at directions hearings and attend court to instruct counsel
Liaise with barristers, expert witnesses, clients and other stakeholders
Undertake detailed legal research and provide transparent, commercially focused analysis
Develop expertise across, lending, mortgage and property-related disputes
The ideal candidate:
Must have 2-6 years' PQE in commercial litigation
A law degree supported by a strong academic record




Sound knowledge of NSW civil procedure
Experience appearing in court and/or instructing counsel
Strong drafting, legal research and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
A proactive and practice approach, with a genuine interest in developing as a litigator
Experience in mortgage or property disputes will be advantageous but is not essential
