Yarrambat Kennels & Cattery is seeking adedicated, experienced, and physically capable individualto join our team as aCasual Administration / Animal Assistant.
This is a fast‐paced, hands‐on role combining animal care with front‐of‐house responsibilities, ideal for someone passionate about animals and confident in client‐facing and administrative tasks.
This position will continue to expand/develop over time, with more focus on administration, client interactions and operational support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This dynamic position involves bothback‐of‐house animal careandadministrative/front office duties.
The successful applicant will be flexible, dependable, and proactive – someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys variety in their work, and is eager to grow with the role as our business evolves.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR




Minimum1 year experiencein akennel, shelter, vet clinic(non‐negotiable).
Full Australian working rights.
Current, valid driver's licence.
Confident with computers and learning new systems.
Physically fit and able to perform manual, on-your-feet tasks in a high‐energy environment.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Administrative or customer service background.
Availability to workweekends, public holidays, school holidays, Easter, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Preferred:
Experience using booking software (Gingr or similar).
Calm, confident, and skilled communication skills.
