About The Role:
Carbiz is looking for a Senior IT Support Officer to join our growing IT team based in Mascot.
In this role, you'll provide handsâon technical support across Carbiz's technology environment, helping our people stay connected, productive, and supported.
You'll take ownership of IT issues from troubleshooting through to resolution, while managing user accounts, Microsoft 365, hardware/software, system access, devices, and dayâtoâday IT operations.
Working closely with employees, senior leaders, and external IT providers, you'll also play an important role in improving the reliability, security, and overall technology experience across Carbiz.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll provide dayâtoâday IT support across Carbiz and work closely with employees, senior leaders, vendors, and technology providers.
You will:
Provide handsâon technical support across hardware, software, applications, operating systems, connectivity, and other ITârelated issues.
Take ownership of incidents and support requests through to resolution.
Manage the endâtoâend user lifecycle, including onboarding, account creation, access provisioning, hardware allocation, system changes, and secure offboarding.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 and associated identity and access management services.
Configure, deploy, maintain,
and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment across Windows environments.
Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues, including WiâFi, DNS, DHCP, printers, and other networkâconnected devices.
Manage IT assets, including hardware allocation, inventory, warranties, and equipment lifecycle information.
Work with internal stakeholders and external IT vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset records, system information, and support tickets.
Identify recurring issues and contribute to rootâcause analysis, system improvements, security initiatives, and proactive maintenance.
About You:
You'll ideally have:
Proven experience in a dedicated IT support, service desk, or systems administration role (essential).
Relevant IT qualifications or certifications such as Microsoft certifications or ITIL (desirable but not essential).
Strong handsâon experience with Microsoft 365 and Hexnode or similar MDM platforms (essential).
Demonstrated experience independently troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues.
Experience supporting Windows environments, hardware, software, and business applications.
Experience managing user onboarding, access provisioning, and secure offboarding.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, WiâFi, and general network troubleshooting.
Experience with Google Suite, OnePassword, OpenPath, Exclaimer, SentinelOne, or Backblaze (desirable but not essential).
Strong problemâsolving and analytical skills.
Highly organised with solid documentation and administrative skills.
Able to explain technical issues clearly to nonâtechnical users.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities.
Experience working with thirdâparty IT providers, software vendors, and telecommunications providers.
