As Contracts Administrator, you'll play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client team.
You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, with responsibility for ensuring the commercial and contractual side of the project is well managed.
You'll be joining a business delivering predominantly new-build commercial projects, typically ranging from $10M–$40M, with a strong focus on education, office and social housing developments across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
Key responsibilities
Subcontractor procurement and letting
Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
Management of variations and EOTs
Progress claims and payment schedules
Cost reporting and forecasting
Subcontractor correspondence and commercial negotiations
Contractual notices and compliance
Monthly reporting
Managing subcontractor performance
Assisting with project cost control and forecasting
About you
Experience working on commercial construction projects
Experience on projects valued between $10M–$40M
Strong subcontract administration experience
Solid understanding of construction contracts
Experience managing variations, EOTs and progress claims
Strong commercial and financial understanding
Good negotiation and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
A proactive approach to commercial management
Experience across education, office, social housing or similar commercial new-build projects highly regarded
