Senior Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Corporate & Commercial.
An excellentopportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join a busy Corporate & Commercial practice.
Working closely with the Managing Partner and Head of the Corporate & Commercial team, you will play an integral role in supporting a varied practice covering corporate, commercial and property matters.
This position would suit an experienced legal support professional who enjoys being hands-on, working autonomously and having genuine involvement across matters and client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, reviewing and coordinating complex property and commercial documentation
Assisting with vendor statements, contracts of sale, shareholder agreements and other transactional agreements
Liaising directly with clients and responding to enquiries
Managing monthly billing, timesheet entries and disbursements
Undertaking legal and company research as required
Conducting ASIC, InfoTrack and property searches
Applying for rates and planning certificates
Opening, closing and archiving files




General document preparation, scanning, binding and administrative support
Assisting across the wider team where required
Experience withPEXAand exposure toleasing matterswill be highly regarded.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a law firm
Experience within property and/or commercial legal practices is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisation and time management skills
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Confidence working autonomously while remaining a collaborative team member
A proactive, positive and qualified approach
