About the role:
Reporting to the Store Manager and Area Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of a cafe at Virgin Active Norwest.
This role is for approximately 20 hours per week in a part time capacity.
In a nutshell:
You will plan and prepare work schedules, assigning crew members to specific duties
You will ensure store staff are trained and component, following correct processes and procedures
You will coach, lead and motivate crew members who are on site
You will conduct store audits, addressing and gaps and concerns
You will maintain appropriate stock levels through ordering, receiving and rotation processes
You will ensure all product checklists, and the management check book are completed on a daily basis




You will execute sales promotion activities and direct crew members for merchandise displays
You will manage controllable costs against set budgets for the store, ensuring that the budget is adhered to
You will assist in recruiting and interviewing all general crew and cashiers in line with Kauai recruitment processes

You have aligned experience in a cafe environment and understand the importance of food safety rules
You're comfortable working with a 7-day rotating roster
You love to create refreshing experiences for people as much as you love to guarantee a super protected and presentable environment for all
