We are seeking an experiencedCyber Security Engineerto join a major organisation and deliver a range of Cyber Security uplift initiatives and projects.
This is ahands-on engineering rolerequiring experience across the full technical delivery lifecycle:discovery, design and build
You will work across Microsoft security technologies, SIEM/logging, MFA, Essential Eight uplift and hybrid infrastructure environments, while working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver approved security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead thedesign and buildof Cyber Security uplift initiatives.
Undertake technical discovery, identify security gaps and develop appropriate solutions.
Design, configure and implementMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)across legacy applications and systems.
Redesign and optimise existingMicrosoft Sentinel/SIEMenvironments.
Expand logging and monitoring across systems and services, including onboarding data sources into Sentinel.
DeliverEssential Eight uplift and remediationactivities.
Support Microsoft 365 and Azure security initiatives.
Work acrosscloud,
on-premises and hybrid environments.
Support technical decommissioning, Business Continuity, High Availability and Backup uplift initiatives.
Prepare technical documentation, procedures and implementation plans.
Coordinate technical resources and cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
Identify technical risks, dependencies and gaps and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Work closely with infrastructure, application and security teams to deliver technical changes through to completion.
