We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst who can bridge business and technology teams, drive process improvement initiatives, and deliver practical outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement and analytical expertise.
About the Role
As the Lead Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, technology specialists, and vendors to identify improvement opportunities, analyse business needs, design future-state processes, and support successful implementation of solutions.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity, facilitate meaningful discussions, and translate complex business challenges into clear requirements, process designs, and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Lead discovery activities to understand business challenges and opportunities.
Elicit, analyse, document, and manage complex business requirements.
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and traceability artefacts.
Conduct impact assessments and support decision-making with evidence-based recommendations.
Process Improvement & Design
Analyse current-state processes and identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities.
Design future-state processes that improve governance, controls, efficiency, and user experience.
Develop process maps, SOPs, work instructions, RACI models, and supporting documentation.
Support the establishment of sustainable process ownership and governance practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and decision forums.
Build solid relationships across business and technology teams.
Manage competing priorities and align stakeholders toward agreed outcomes.
Produce clear executive-level documentation,



presentations, and recommendations.
Delivery & Implementation Support
Support delivery teams through backlog refinement, prioritisation, and planning activities.
Assist with testing activities including UAT preparation and execution.
Work with change and communications resources to support solution adoption.
Ensure requirements and process designs are validated and successfully implemented.
Monitor process performance and identify ongoing improvement opportunities.
Partner with business owners to maintain process documentation and governance artefacts.
Contribute to establishing consistent business analysis standards and practices.
Business Analysis
Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst.
Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity and competing stakeholder priorities.
Process Improvement
Experience designing and improving end-to-end business processes.
Strong process mapping and modelling skills (BPMN or equivalent).
Knowledge of governance, controls, compliance, and operational frameworks.
Stakeholder Management
Exceptional facilitation and workshop management capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience engaging with senior executives, operational teams, technology teams, and vendors.
Delivery Support
Experience supporting testing, implementation, transition, and adoption activities.
Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, Visio or similar analysis tools.
Highly regarded experience in one or more of the following areas:
