About the Role
We are looking for a energetic and enthusiastic
Technical Building Products Engineer
to join the CSR DesignLINK team.
This is a
full-time, permanent role
based at Wetherill Park.
The DesignLINK team provides technical support to stakeholders and offers practical solutions to non-standard system applications across various CSR brands.
Reporting to the Solutions Team Lead & Senior Technical Engineer, you will be engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project specific technical enquiries.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide Technical Support across different CSR Brands for products and systems for internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with CSR Field, Specification and Sales teams to ensure products and systems are correctly recommended and installed correctly for different applications.
Ensure all recommendations are compliant with the NCC, relevant Codes and standards requirements.
Generate system improvement ideas and work with other teams to develop new solutions that suit the growing needs of customers and the building industry.
About You
You are a technically capable engineer who enjoys solving complex building system challenges and translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
You'll be naturally curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple product categories, stakeholders, and projects.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience within building products, construction materials, engineering consultancy, manufacturing, or related sectors
Relevant Architectural experience or Tertiary qualifications in
Civil or Structural Engineering
(preferred), however we will also consider candidates with qualifications in other Engineering fields.
Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards
A collaborative approach with a genuine interest in building systems, product performance, and innovation
