The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity is available for an experiencedSenior Structural Drafterto join a well-established engineering consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of structural and infrastructure projects.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being given genuine ownership of their work and has the experience to independently take structural documentation packages from design development through toIssued for Construction (IFC).
Projects are varied and technically interesting, spanningindustrial buildings and warehouses, reinforced concrete and structural steel structures, retaining structures, bridges, culverts and associated civil infrastructure.
You'll work closely with engineers and other disciplines to develop practical, coordinated and buildable solutions, while having the opportunity to contribute your own experience and ideas to project delivery.
What We're Looking For
Around5-10 years' qualified structural drafting experience, inclusive of any apprenticeship or traineeship




Previous experience within anengineering consultancyhighly regarded
Advanced AutoCAD skills - essential
Strong working knowledge ofRevit
Proven experience producing detailed structural documentation through toIFC
Experience across reinforced concrete, structural steel and associated structural systems
Exposure to infrastructure structures such asbridges, culverts and retaining structureswould be highly regarded
Good knowledge of relevantAustralian Standards and industry design/documentation guidelines
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams
Confidence working independently and delivering documentation packages withminimal supervision
A practical understanding of constructability and coordination
Experience or an interest in theintegration of AI into drafting, design or documentation workflowswould also be viewed favourably.
