Our client is a premium developer and builder delivering residential and commercial projects.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you consolidate, verify and report on progress across the group's residential development and construction portfolio. This is a portfolio level role rather than a single project role, and it depends on genuine construction and development knowledge, not just administration.
You need to understand what's actually happening on site so you can pick up gaps, delays and risks before they surface in the numbers. You gather information from internal site and project teams, consultants and external contractors, test it against actual site conditions and documentation, and turn it into reporting leadership can rely on and act on.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain program level dashboards, S-curves and milestone trackers for leadership review
Develop and maintain risk registers across the portfolio and **escalate** emerging issues early
Prepare weekly and monthly status reports covering progress, budget position and key risks
Verify reported progress against site conditions, documentation and cost reports, and query discrepancies directly with project and site teams
Support progress claims, variations and extension of time assessments
Track development approval and construction certificate conditions and milestones
Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas and minutes, and track action items to completion
Liaise with internal project and site teams, consultants, authorities and external contractors to keep reporting current and grounded in what's actually happening on site
What You'll Bring
3+ years' experience in property development, construction or client side project management
Hands on experience with Class 2 residential or mixed use developments
Comfortable questioning progress updates and identifying inconsistencies between reported status and actual site conditions
Working knowledge of project scheduling tools, including Gantt charts and S-curve analysis
Advanced Excel skills, including building and maintaining dashboards and status reports
Language Skills:
Qualified English is mandatory
Chinese skills are beneficial
What's on Offer
Direct exposure to senior leadership and the information that shapes portfolio decisions
A pathway toward broader project or program responsibility as the portfolio grows
Exposure to a diverse pipeline of residential and mixed use projects
