We're partnering with a major Australian enterprise to find a hands-on
Cloud Engineer
to join its Cloud Operations team and help operate, automate and continuously improve a large Microsoft Azure environment.
This isn't a purely BAU or ticket-driven CloudOps role. You'll work across day-to-day cloud operations alongside automation, security, observability, FinOps and project initiatives, with increasing exposure to AI-assisted operations and AIOps.

Working alongside CloudOps, Software Engineering, Security, Integration and Data teams, you'll get exposure across:

You'll also support project and product teams to ensure new cloud workloads are secure, observable, resilient and operationally ready before going live.
What We're Looking For You'll ideally have
3+ years' experience
across Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps or a similar hands-on environment.
We're particularly interested in experience across:
Strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services
Terraform,



Bicep or other Infrastructure as Code tooling
PowerShell and infrastructure automation
Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines
Azure networking, identity, security and monitoring
Kubernetes / AKS exposure
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Application Insights
Cloud security, SRE or FinOps practices
You don't need to tick every box. More important is a strong Azure foundation, an automation mindset and the ability to learn and adapt as the environment continues to evolve.
