Due to the current growth and expansion of the MGM Bulk business across Western Australia, we are seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to join our Head Office team in Bunbury.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this will be a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial information while maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory and taxation requirements. The role will also have direct reports and supervisory responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:
Preparation of accurate financial information with detailed monthly reconciliations
Complete month-end financial reporting, including journals, accruals, and general ledger accuracy checks
Assist with the preparation of financial information for weekly and monthly operational reports
Variance tracking and analysis of financial data
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with all taxation and regulatory requirements
Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Oversee the daily finance operations for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Travel including direct reports
Preparation and reconciliation of fuel and associated taxation and regulatory obligations
Oversee fixed assets, tax registers and monthly reconciliations
Support the Financial Controller with any other ad hoc financial tasks

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Degree qualified in Accounting, with CPA or CA qualification
Minimum 5+ years' accounting experience in similar role
Experience using Business Central and Solver Reporting Software
Advanced Excel Skills – including formulas, pivot tables and data manipulation
Experience using MS Office Suite for document creation and maintenance
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Establish and maintain effective relationships throughout all levels of the business
Sustain a positive attitude and outlook within the workplace
