Australasian Body Corporate Management (AusBCM) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Financial Controller
to join our growing team based in Spring Hill. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations within a portfolio of community titles schemes governed by the
Body Corporate and Community Management Act **** (Qld)
.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reporting across multiple body corporates.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations for body corporate portfolios
Prepare and review budgets, financial statements, and reporting for committees and AGMs
Ensure compliance with the BCCM Act **** and associated regulations
Manage levy contributions, arrears, and reconciliations




Liaise with auditors, committees, and internal stakeholders
Oversee trust accounts and banking functions
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a similar financial/controller role within the strata or body corporate industry
Strong working knowledge of the BCCM Act **** (Qld)
Proficiency in StrataMax, DocMax, and Xero
Experience with banking platforms and trust account management
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
