Contribute to
Sprint planning, project planning, test planning, and backlog refinement sessions
to ensure effective testing coverage across releases.
Perform
test analysis and prepare test scripts
using established test and project management platforms, including
Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
.
Design and document
business-focused test scenarios
in collaboration with WorkSafe Product Owners and Business SMEs, ensuring alignment with approved business processes and work instructions.
Plan and execute
System Testing (ST) and System Integration Testing (SIT)
in partnership with Product Owners, Business SMEs, vendors, and external service providers such as Service Victoria, ATO, ASIC, Australia Post/Decipha, Computershare, PayPal, Westpac, and other third parties.
Create, enhance, and maintain
regression test suites
covering production functionality, maintenance releases, enhancements, and scheduled program releases.
Work closely with the
Test Automation team
to identify and improve automation coverage for regression scenarios and provide regular reporting to the program.
Execute
SIT, system, and regression testing
in accordance with defined release plans, timelines, and program schedules.
Support the preparation of test scenarios and coordinate
UAT activities
, enabling business stakeholders to complete comprehensive testing and provide formal sign-off.
Log, monitor, and manage
defects through Jira/TestRail
, following the established Defect Management Framework and ensuring issues are tracked through to resolution.
Prepare and communicate regular
test status reports
, covering test coverage, execution progress, defect status, and testing cycles using Jira and TestRail.




Build and maintain strong working relationships with
business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business SMEs, internal program teams, and external service providers
.
Undertake additional testing and quality assurance activities as required to support the ongoing needs of the organization.

Key Skills & Experience
Strong
verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills
, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Proven ability to create
high-quality test artefacts
, including test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, execution evidence, and test reports.
Hands-on CRM/Salesforce experience is mandatory.
Previous experience within the
Claims or Insurance domain is highly desirable
.
Practical experience with
Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
in an enterprise testing environment.
Robust understanding of
ST, SIT, Regression Testing, UAT, Defect Management, and Test Planning
.
