Join our team in Primary and Community Health Speech Pathology at Bankstown Community Health Centre and play a meaningful role in supporting children with a variety of communication disorders. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred assessment and therapy including the provision of multidisciplinary care. You will be well supported with regular supervision, a comprehensive orientation and professional development opportunities tailored to your goals, allowing you to continue building your clinical skills and confidence while contributing to a service that makes a real difference.
Are You the Right Fit?
Has a passion for working with children with communication difficulties and delivering high quality clinical care to children and their families in South Western Sydney
Has experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders
Ability to work as part of a team including multidisciplinary teams
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management

Provision of tasks that support overall service delivery including quality improvement, clinical supervision and administrative duties.
Selection Criteria




Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.
Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of local service delivery, integrating quality improvement processes and evidence-based practice (EBP) to service planning, evaluation of service changes.
Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients (0-12 years) with a variety of communication disorders. Experience working with vulnerable and/or at risk communities ensuring the provision of client/family centred care.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to use multidisciplinary teamwork, and to collaborate with other services/organisations relevant to case management and service delivery.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
