DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be a member of a team of Leisure Assistants reporting to the Duty Manager, ensuring the smooth day to day operation of Perth Leisure Pool.
Operational Duties
Key Tasks
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the desired image of Perth Leisure Pool through a welcoming, friendly approach to all customers
To be a member of a team trained in accident prevention, aquatic rescue and first aid
To ensure the safety of customers through encouraging secure recreation and activity
To carry out rescues and to administer remedial treatment as may be defined in the Normal Operating Procedure and Emergency Action Plan
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness both within and outside the pool at all times.
This will include public toilets, shower areas, main concourse, cafeteria, bar, staff areas and outdoors




To assist with the setting out and clearing away of equipment and furniture
Other Tasks

To assist with the teaching of lessons and classes as required
Health and Safety
Key Tasks
To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act **** and all supplementary legislation
Training
Key Tasks
To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in in-house or externally
To maintain the standard required for the current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
General
Key Tasks
To undertake other related duties as may be required by the Company
Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
