Factory Hand – Day Shift
$29 – $30 per hour (Potentially higher pay for the right candidate)
We are hiring for a state-of-the-art laser cutting and metal fabrication facility, seeking a reliable
Factory Hand
to join their production team on day shift.
About the Role
This is a hands-on production role supporting our laser cutting and finishing processes.
You'll be operating our
Lissmac machine
for edge deburring and finishing, along with drilling, tapping, and general lifting duties across the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the Lissmac machine to deburr and finish laser-cut parts
Drilling and tapping of components to specification
General lifting and manual handling of materials and finished parts
Support the production team with general factory duties
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area




Adhere to WHS and quality standards at all times
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a factory, production, or manufacturing workplace (metal fabrication or sheet metal experience highly regarded)
Comfortable operating machinery and following set procedures
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
Good attention to detail
Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
