What We're Looking For
At least 6 years' experience in residential building and renovations
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
Skilled in carpentry, with own tools and reliable vehicle
Well-mannered, well-dressed, and respectful to colleagues and clients
Able to work efficiently both independently and in a team-oriented team
Responsibilities
Builds and installs structural elements including framing, and subfloors, ensuring all parts are level and correctly aligned.
Read architectural drawings, designs, blueprints to construct and build structures and building.
Build, install, renovate, or repair various fixtures and frameworks using timber, metal, and composite panels.
Attaching fascia boards, securing external cladding, and installing windows and door frames.
May build concrete formwork.




Sources and organises timber and construction materials, setting out initial layouts accordingly.
Shapes and trims components, joins them with fixings, and assembles them into position.
