About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrician preferably with some Solar Experience to join ROCKYS ELECTRICAL PTY LTD on a full-time basis in Sale, VIC ****.
This is a strategic leadership position that will oversee all aspects of our electrical and solar operations.
You will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring project delivery, maintaining quality standards and mentoring our electrical staff.
This role is pivotal to the success and future development of the company, and you will work closely with the owner and stakeholders to achieve our day to day operational objectives.
Key responsibilities
Oversee all electrical and solar project operations, including planning, scheduling and resource allocation with admin team
Manage and supervise electrical and solar installation teams to ensure work is completed to high quality standards and on schedule
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations and industry standards across all projects
Work with our Design and Sales teams to project budgets, control costs and optimise profitability
Work with our Processes Team and implement operational procedures and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor team performance,
provide mentoring and training to staff, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the electrical and solar sectors
Ensure workplace health and safety protocols are consistently implemented and adhered to
Flexibility to still spend a day a week on installation works to keep you in the game.
What we're looking for
Substantial experience in electrical contracting or solar installation industry management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity
(Or someone that has ran their own business)
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and solar panel installation processes and standards
Excellent team leadership and people management skills with experience managing trades personnel
Sound understanding of relevant electrical codes, Australian Standards and workplace health and safety legislation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, staff and suppliers
Relevant qualifications such as a A Grade Electrician's licence & SAA Accreditation highly desirable
