As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of service delivery and technical support across the Perth Branch.
You will lead a team of Field Service Technicians, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure all installations, maintenance and support activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with customers, technicians, sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Perth Service team to deliver outstanding customer service outcomes
Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety requirements
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and engagement
Manage department budgets, forecasts and financial performance
Drive a positive customer-focused culture across the service team
Plan and schedule field service resources to support current and future workloads
Support technicians with technical guidance, problem solving and escalation management
Ensure jobs are appropriately resourced with parts, equipment and personnel
Coordinate logistics, scheduling and job planning activities to maximise efficiency
Assist with the preparation of service quotations and cost estimates
Maintain service quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Support the development, mentoring and performance management of Field Service Technicians
Work closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities for additional customer support and business growth
About You
To be successful in this role,



you will bring a strong technical background combined with proven leadership and customer service experience.
You will have:
Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering background
Significant experience within field service, maintenance or technical support environments
Strong understanding of mining technology, automation or mobile equipment systems
Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate technical teams
Strong planning, scheduling and resource coordination capabilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations
Strong commercial awareness and experience managing service delivery performance
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
