Alpha Garage Doors is looking for a motivated, energetic
Sales Representative
to join our Melbourne team and help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is a hands‐on sales role for someone who enjoys getting out from behind a desk, meeting customers, understanding what they need and turning opportunities into results.
You'll work across both
residential and commercial projects
, building relationships with homeowners, builders and commercial clients while representing a trusted name in garage door solutions.

What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of opportunities from the initial enquiry right through to the sale and beyond. Your week will include:
Conducting on-site consultations with residential and commercial customers
Understanding customer requirements and recommending the right garage door solution
Preparing accurate, professional quotes and following up opportunities quickly
Managing your sales pipeline and working towards monthly and quarterly sales targets
Building solid, long‐term relationships with homeowners, builders and commercial clients
Providing outstanding service from the first conversation through to post‐installation follow‐up
Working closely with our installation and customer service teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information in our CRM
Representing Alpha Garage Doors at trade shows and industry events when required




What does success look like?
We want someone who takes ownership of their numbers and their customers.
You'll be focused on:
Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
Achieving strong monthly sales revenue
Converting quotes into confirmed jobs
Conducting approximately
***** customer meetings per week
Following up quotes promptly – ideally within
48 hours
Creating an excellent customer experience that generates repeat business and referrals
About you
We're looking for someone who is
proactive, personable and results-focused
.
You'll be comfortable managing the entire sales process and confident communicating with everyone from homeowners through to builders and commercial customers.
You'll also bring:
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
A genuine drive to win business and achieve targets
Excellent organisation and follow‐up
Confidence conducting face‐to‐face customer meetings and site consultations
Professional presentation and attention to detail
The ability to prepare accurate quotes and documentation
A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with operational teams
Experience in sales, construction, building products, trades or a related industry will be highly regarded
