About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Executive Chef, The Head Chef will lead a talented team within the Club and ensure the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency.
Work for a venue that has one of the best food and beverage offerings in the area
Opportunity to focus on assisting in kitchen management duties
Work closely with a respected Executive Chef & Sous Chef Team
Work with Senior Executive chef on food consistency , budget control & team development
The ideal candidate has:
Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in high-volume kitchen environments.
A proven track record of leading teams to achieve successful outcomes.
The ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality service.




Strong stock management skills - maintaining optimal stock conditions, participating in regular stock takes, and contributing to inventory management.
The capability to manage staff performance and development.
A solid understanding of financial budgets, including food and labour costs.
Experience in managing and maintaining food safety programs, including all necessary documentation.
Proficiency in rostering and ordering.
The ability to monitor and ensure compliance with OH&S; standards and procedures.
Exceptional time management skills.
A calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
A qualification in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent certification.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills - able to collaborate with chefs at all levels.
