Job Title : DevOps Engineer Location: Brisbane, Australia Job Title/High Level Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.
This role will contribute to the design, automation, operation, and continuous improvement of our cloud platforms, development workflows, and production environments.
The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software through infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, observability, and cloud-native practices.
The ideal candidate is passionate about improving developer productivity, system reliability, and operational excellence, while applying sound engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.
Experience with our technology stack is beneficial, but we are primarily seeking engineers who demonstrate solid DevOps fundamentals, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in building real-time,



high-performance applications that integrate with optical navigation systems and surgical hardware to enhance surgeon workflows and improve patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building robust, user-centric software in a highly regulated medical device environment and thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services to support software delivery and production operations Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent, repeatable, and automated environment provisioning Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable and efficient software delivery Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineering, clinical research, product management, and quality to define and deliver software requirements Partner with software engineers to improve system reliability, deployment processes, operational readiness, and developer experience Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to support production systems Contribute to security, compliance, and governance initiatives across cloud environments and delivery pipelines Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements Support application performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery initiatives.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and engineering standards.
Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering practices and platform capabilities.
