The Opportunity Due to consistent growth and success across our business, Hardchrome Sales is now seeking a Cylindrical Grinder to join our well-equipped workshop located at Welshpool WA ****.
We are looking for Afternoon shift 3.30pm till midnight Overtime is available.
You will be hands-on with operating various sizes of cylindrical grinders (up to 5 meters long) and completing tasks such as grinding chrome off rods, polishing them for chroming, and finishing jobs post-chroming.
Training will be provided where required.
About You Proven experience as a grinding operator or experience with hard chrome plating Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisory role (desirable) Read drawings, interpret written and verbal work instructions Ability to read and measure with metric and imperial micrometers (desirable) Able to lead by example and support a small team of operators Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to prioritise workloads, allocate tasks, and maintain workflow efficiency A proactive and positive 'can do' attitude with a commitment to safety What's in it for you?
